18th Sunday After Pentecost | Communion Sunday | Combined Worship Service @ 10:00 a.m. | Fellowship Luncheon POSTPONED

Due to unforeseen circumstances the luncheon that was planned for Sunday, October 4th has been POSTPONED at this time.
We will still have our Combined Worship at 10:00.
So that Center First United Methodist Church can continue to maintain a normal service schedule, we are asking for everyone to practice caution in reference to the continued spreading of COVID-19. If ANY of the below applies to you, we encourage you to enjoy our services through our church website and/or Facebook Live.
  • If you feel sick
  • If you have any symptoms of sickness
  • If you have been around someone that has shown symptoms of sickness
  • If you have been around anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19
We are asking for your cooperation, not only for yourself but for our elderly and those with underlying health conditions. Wearing a face mask is required. Thanks for your cooperation!

Please join us for our Combined Worship Service beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2020, 18th Sunday after Pentecost, Communion Sunday, with Rev. Malcolm Monroe. Our church sanctuary has reopened for in-person worship services and will continue being lived-streamed via Facebook Live at https://www.facebook.com/FUMCCenterTexas/. This Sunday, we will be having Communion. For those who are able to attend our Combined in-person worship at 10:00 a.m., we will pass out individual juice cups that includes a wafer. For those who are unable attend in-person worship, please come by the church office and pick up your cup and wafer and wait until you attend the 10:00 a.m. Facebook Live service to take your elements. For those who are unable to pick up your elements, we can bring them to you. Please call the church at (936) 598-2707 if you have questions.

The communion offering will go to the Shelby County Outreach Ministries.
