Prayer Requests

The Lord’s Prayer:  Matthew 6:9-13 (NIV)

“This, then, is how you should pray: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,
for yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.” Amen.

It starts with a prayer.  Like ripples made by a stone tossed into the water, a prayer radiates from a single whisper.  No matter how faint, its echo resonates into the heart of God.  The Prayer Ministry at Center First United Methodist Church helps bring God’s comfort and peace to those who need it most.  Volunteers find their own lives transformed when they intercede on behalf of others.  Make praying for others a part of your life.
